Dear Friends, Family & Colleagues,
here I am again asking for your kind contribution to yet another of the initiatives that Starwood organizes to help UNICEF in the work that relentlessly and resiliently they do for children in need around the globe.
As you may remember, in 2010 was my first time in the Road To Awareness (R2A) initiative that brings together a heterogenous bunch of enthusiasts Starwood colleagues from Europe, Africa and the Middle East to complete a bike ride challenge while raising funds for an educational UNICEF project.
This year the project is being carried out in Romania and Pakistan and I wanted to give you the chance of paying it forward and be grateful for the opportunities we have and take for granted. To find out more please visit http://www.roadtoawareness.com/
If last year we tackled the Dolomites (including the infamous Stelvio that chew me up and tried to spit me out but I eventually conquered while trailing it with sweat, blood and tears) this year's we've stepped up the challenge and will face the French Alps, a younger and steeper range with the Alp d'Huez as the highlight.
As you can see a great challenge for a great cause that makes it all well worth it; hope you share the rewarding feeling by contributing with as much as you can, please keep in mind that there's no small donation since they're all coming form big hearts like yours.
Please add this page to your favourites and visit it regularly to know more about my training for the challenge and the fundrasing efforts.
Thank you all!
Cheers
José Luis
